1801 W. Belle Plaine Avenue
Suite 209, Chicago, IL 60613

Founded by a seasoned group of serial entrepreneurs, Benchmark Analytics is a SaaS technology startup housed in the Ravenswood technology corridor on Chicago’s Northside. In partnership with the University of Chicago, we are building a predictive analytics platform for law enforcement human capital management. Our series of predictive tools helps police departments support officers along a wellness continuum and provides individualized, research-based interventions and supports.

We are a double-bottom line company – our management team is comprised of former police officers, former city officials, and current change makers who believe in (and have witnessed) the power of data to transform government . . . and in this case, improve policing.

Current Opportunities

   Customer Implementation Manager

The role.
We are looking for an experienced customer implementation manager who can lead (and be accountable for) our implementation and technical software deployments, as the key connector between our development/product team and our customers and frontline users. Specific tasks include reviewing external clients’ product demands, developing project plans and ensuring that implementations are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. This individual will also be involved from time to time in pre-sales product demonstrations, providing assistance in scoping projects and support in developing proposals. This role will also have tremendous autonomy to develop systemic processes and systems for our company, to ensure we are running a top-notch delivery organization and supporting our customers in the best possible ways.

Our ideal candidate will have deep experience in the technical and business process tasks of standing up customers on software platforms, preferably with government or not-for-profit customers. Likewise, the successful candidate will have a passion for supporting the application of big data into consumable tools and a commitment to understanding and improving outcomes in the public sector. Lastly, the ideal candidate will be hungry to continue evolving and perfecting our own processes to make sure we are providing best-in-class supports to our partners and customers.

The opportunity.
We are a rapidly growing startup poised to move fast in the market and are well-funded through institutional capital. We recently announced a partnership with the University of Chicago (who is a part owner of our company) to commercialize their research and have deep ties into academic, foundation and civic organizations interested in this work. If you are interested in the intersection of public sector operations, research and data analytics, we believe this is an unprecedented opportunity to experience it first-hand. We also have direct access to two great Chicago breweries right outside our door.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant technology/software implementation
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with project management
  • Demonstrated client relationships skills with internal and external clients
  • Demonstrable experience with process management and proximity to software development

The ideal candidate will also be:

  • Comfortable under pressure, with high-stakes deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to interpret and communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical team members
  • Able to communicate concisely and persuasively with engineers and product managers
  • Fearless about learning with a service mindset
  • Adept at managing time well
  • Passionate about our double-bottom line philosophy

The fine print and how to apply:

  1. Thank you for your interest in our company and what we are building!
  2. Benchmark Analytics is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We value diversity of all kinds in our effort to create a stellar workforce of committed and passionate team members.
  3. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor employment visas at this time, so we can only accept applications for those candidates who are authorized to work in the US.
